Android, WearOS, ReactJS & NextJS — precision-engineered software from a Canadian independent studio with 20+ years on the tools.
I'm the founder of CanuxLabs — an independent Canadian software studio where design thinking and engineering discipline go hand in hand. For over 20 years I've been building applications that are fast, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable to use.
My roots are in native Android development — from the earliest SDK versions right through to modern Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. I expanded into the wearable space with Android Wear and WearOS, and have spent the last several years equally at home in the React and NextJS ecosystems.
Whether it's a Play Store app, a WearOS watch face, or a full-stack web platform — every line of code I ship is built to last, designed to delight, and ready for the wild.
Native Android from day one. Every app is tuned for performance, battery and the Play Store.
Independent Canadian studio — no middlemen, no hand-offs. You work directly with me.
From Kotlin backends to NextJS frontends — one person, end-to-end ownership.
Two decades of shipping software across startups, enterprises, and personal products.
Four platforms. One studio. No corners cut.
Native Android apps built with modern Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Clean MVVM architecture, offline-first data, Material Design 3 polish — and a Play Store track record that proves it.
Smartwatch apps that feel at home on the wrist. Watch faces, complications, health-sensor integrations and Tiles — built for the unique power and display constraints of WearOS devices.
Component-driven SPAs with React 18, TypeScript and modern state management. Fast, accessible, and architected to grow — not to be rewritten in six months.
Server-rendered, SEO-ready web apps with NextJS 14 App Router and server actions. From landing pages to full-stack SaaS platforms — shipped fast, built to last.
A career built on shipping real software, not slide decks.
Founded CanuxLabs to focus full-time on Android, WearOS, ReactJS and NextJS. Shipped multiple Play Store apps including watch faces, productivity tools, and health trackers. Provides contract development for Canadian and international clients who need someone who can own a project from wireframe to production deployment.
Led Android development for large-scale consumer apps. Introduced WearOS companion experiences, architected offline-first sync layers, and owned CI/CD pipelines for Play Store releases. First engineer to ship a production WearOS app in the team.
Bridged early Android SDK projects with web frontends. Designed REST APIs, built Java/Android backends, and watched early JS frameworks evolve into React — adopting each one early and building production apps with them.
Started building desktop and web applications when "user experience" wasn't yet a job title. Designed interfaces by instinct, engineered them by discipline — and built the design-plus-engineering mindset that still defines every CanuxLabs product today.
All CanuxLabs applications published on the Google Play Store are listed below. Each app links to its individual privacy policy — plain language, no legalese, no surprises. Questions? Get in touch.
